  2. Hello to the Watters Family! I think it is wonderful that you have started up a blog for yourselves and Irelyn, she is beautiful, congratulations! I came to your blog from the 0-5 message board from 'National' (PWSA(USA) ). I also have a daughter with PWS, she is now 5.5 years old and doing very well. Being further down along this PWS road, I can say with conviction that it DOES get easier. The first weeks/months are the hardest, but things DO smooth out. Go easy on yourselves, remember to take time and simply enjoy Irelyn (beautiful name!), since these newborn days go by so very fast as you know! The therapies, doctors appointments, testing, all of that will fall into place. The message board is a great place to ask questions and bounce thoughts/ideas off of all the other parents out there. I live up in Ohio, otherwise I'd come and see you! If you can connect with any parents in your area that is also a great thing - even if your kids are not the same age - it is very helpful to know that there is another PWS family close by.

If you have any questions please feel free to e-mail me, readbooks2@hotmail.com.

    Take care, hugs,
    Jen Bolander

  3. Dear Walters Family,
I'm a friend of Georgie W., and we have been lifting your little Irelyn in prayer. Just wanted you to know I am excited to see her improving, and continue to believe in the healing power of Jesus for a complete recovery. She is beautiful.
